Videosoft Global Supports Royal Borough of Greenwich With Rapid Deployment CCTV To Improve Public Safety
Videosoft Global, a leader in video streaming, is pleased to support the Royal Borough of Greenwich in the rollout of new deployable CCTV cameras across key locations, including Eltham High Street and Woolwich Dockyard, as part of the council’s wider programme to improve public safety.
The deployment introduces Videosoft Global’s RDS-900 CCTV units, designed to provide fast, flexible surveillance in areas where visibility and responsiveness are critical. The compact systems can be installed and made operational within minutes, enabling the council to respond quickly to emerging priorities and areas of concern.

Responsiveness and Rapid Deployment
Each unit is equipped with a high-definition PTZ camera, allowing full remote control, live streaming, and onboard recording for evidence review. Using Videosoft’s ultra-low-latency streaming technology, the solution delivers reliable, real-time video, even in low-signal or congested network environments.
All footage is continuously live-streamed to the CCTV control room and can be securely accessed in real time via mobile devices, improving situational awareness and enabling faster, more informed responses to incidents.

The deployment also provides the council with a more flexible approach to CCTV, allowing cameras to be easily repositioned as operational needs change. This supports a more targeted and efficient use of resources, particularly in areas identified as requiring additional monitoring.
Following the initial rollout, further installations are planned across additional locations in the borough, supporting the council’s ongoing commitment to enhancing public safety and addressing anti-social behaviour.

Videosoft Global continues to work with local authorities across the UK to deliver reliable surveillance solutions that combine rapid deployment with high-performance video streaming even in the most challenging conditions.
