Kuwait Oil Tanker Company Deploys Videosoft Real-Time Video Streaming to Enhance Fleet Visibility and Operational Safety

Videosoft Global is supporting Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC) as it deploys real-time video streaming technology across its fleet to enhance operational visibility and safety at sea.

KOTC operates oil tankers transporting crude oil, refined petroleum products, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). With fewer crew onboard and an increasing focus on health, safety, and operational visibility, the organization required a solution capable of delivering clear real-time situational awareness from vessels back to shore.

KOTC implemented the Videosoft platform for many reasons, including its ultra-low bandwidth streaming, standards-based deployment that doesn’t require specialist hardware, and the ability to stream high-quality video over highly constrained maritime networks. Videosoft’s ultra-low bandwidth streaming technology allows multiple camera feeds from each vessel to be securely delivered to KOTC’s Fleet Performance Monitoring Center onshore, providing teams with real-time visibility of vessel activity.

By combining live video provided by Videosoft Global with fleet performance management tools, KOTC’s onshore operations teams gain immediate visual insight into vessel activity, supporting faster decision-making, improved safety oversight, and greater operational awareness across the fleet.
